Lots To Do!

Well, since the last time that I wrote, much has occurred. This has been a year of personal growth; emotionally, socially, intellectually, and spiritually. My son is now graduated from high school and enrolling in college, making three college students in our family in the fall of 2011. The fourth will be making her debut next fall in 2012 after she completes high school herself. Life is picking up in its pace, and we are ready to make headway in the world as a family, and individuals.

Economically, this country has been on a roller coaster ride. Our home is in Washington State where we have no end of things to do for the outdoor enthusiast, and culturally diverse offerings as well. With this fertile ground to provide a booming travel and tourism industry, the State of Washington has shut down its travel and tourism department due to lack of funds allotted in the State's budget coffers. I believe that one can promote a good thing via word of mouth and referral. So, I began a facebook page. You may find it by going here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Washington-the-State/140419352703717

I encourage feedback, people to post their own places, experiences, photos and recommendations. It is time to take initiative, not wait for someone else to rescue us!
